2014 National Medal of Science Nominations

The nomination of colleagues for awards is one of the most important and gratifying aspects of participating in the scientific community. Help celebrate the contributions of your colleagues by submitting a nomination for the 2014 National Medal of Science.

Established in 1959, the National Medal of Science is the premier award for American scientists and engineers. It is the highest recognition our nation can bestow for outstanding contributions to knowledge or sustained, impactful work in engineering and the chemical, physical, biological, mathematical, or behavioral sciences. Conferred by the President, the Medal has been awarded to almost 500 pioneering individuals.

Please consider nominating your exceptional colleagues for this prestigious honor. Nominations and three letters of support must be submitted to the National Science Foundation by May 1, 2014. For more information, please visit Foundation's website
