Using Digital Storytelling in the Classroom

A recently published article by Mercedes Bell addresses the challenges and value of integrating digital storytelling into curricula, from primary through higher education. In 'The Art of Digital Storytelling,' Bell provides examples of use by Georgetown University, the University of Maryland, and the University of California, Berkeley, which are infusing programs with instruction on making use of social media, professional platforms, and tools that enable these technologies to be used to convey information in new and engaging ways.
