New Program Assistant Joins SENCER Team
Katie Shade, who has assisted SENCER as part of the on-site staff at several Summer Institutes including in 2012, is now the new program assistant for our work. Katie earned her bachelor's degrees from the Pennsylvania State University and her juris doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law. Since August, Katie has been a part time consultant for the Center.
In her new role with SENCER, Katie will assist with the planning and on-site execution of symposia such as the Summer Institute and the Washington Symposium and Capitol Hill Poster Session. In addition, she will support grant preparation efforts and coordinate the review of sub-award, symposia, and Leadership Fellows applications. Katie will also work with Dr. Monica Devanas on our initiatives with Magna Publications as we develop webinars (please see the announcement of our collaboration with Magna here).
