Audio Files, Photographs, and Posters added to Washington Symposium Page
NCSCE's recent Washington Symposium and Capitol Hill Poster Session hosted more than 100 educators, students, and administrators with diverse experiences and expertise, but similar enthusiasm for the work they are conducting on campus. The Symposium, which was co-sponsored by the University of Maryland, featured talks by David Asai of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Flora Lichtman of National Public Radio's Science Friday, and campus teams.
The Washington Symposium and Capitol Hill Poster Session page has been updated with:
- Audio files and PowerPoint presentations for keynote and plenary speakers,
- Posters invited participants displayed on Capitol Hill,
- Photographs from all Symposium events, and
- The Symposium program book, which contains contact information for all participants, written poster abstracts, and the final schedule.
Additional materials, including the remainder of the participant posters and transcripts for selected talks, will be posted continuously over the next several weeks. We invite you to explore these new features as well as general resources for the Symposium, and to consider joining us next year for the 2011 Washington Symposium and Capitol Hill Poster Session. Information and a call for applications for next year's event will be posted this summer.
