What is the issue you plan to address?

I want to have my students learn about geoscience, geotechnical and environmental careers in the southeastern U.S.

What are the actions you will take to make this happen?

I will investigate geoscience employers in the southeast, and design a web quest in which students visit employer websites and the U.S Bureau of Labor Statistics to research geoscience and geotechnical careers, salaries, education required, and job duties, etc. WHY ARE YOU DOING THE INVESTIGATING?

What is the timeline for implementing your actions?

Will start this in Jan 2013 to use in Spring 2013 classes.

How will you know if you are successful?

Students will submit worksheets with answers as the results of their webquest.
