In this audio lecture, a forest ecologist and an expert in complex systems explain how scientists use Earth-observing satellites to track and assess changes in the forests of New England. These scientists present an overview of Earth-observing remote sensing technologies applications as well as some of their own work as part of the White Mountain MAPBGC (Mapping and Analysis of Productivity and BioGeochemical Cycles) project.
