In this audio lecture, a forest ecologist and an expert in complex systems explain how scientists use Earth-observing satellites to track and assess changes in the forests of New England. These scientists present an overview of Earth-observing remote sensing technologies applications as well as some of their own work as part of the White Mountain MAPBGC (Mapping and Analysis of Productivity and BioGeochemical Cycles) project. The audio lecture is 1 hour and 12 minutes in length.
