This radio broadcast discusses a weather pattern called the North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO), which in the winter of 1998-1999 caused problems for many on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. The show considers the predictability of the NAO, the link between NAO and the jetstream, and how the NAO is related to climate change. This sound clip lasts 4 minutes and 21 seconds.
