Donald Lofgren, The Raymond M Alf Museum

The Raymond M. Alf Museum of Paleontology in Claremont California is the only paleontology museum on a secondary school campus. The private Webb School uses the museum to involve science students in a Museum Studies course. This article details the activities of the students in collecting and readying specimens for the museum. A discussion of competition between museums and private collectors is also included.
