This is a report published by the National Science Foundation on the broad scientific opportunities stemming from recent advances in digital computation, data, information, and networks. This report evaluates current major investments in cyberinfrastructure, recommends new areas of emphasis relevant to cyberinfrastructure, and proposes an implementation plan for pursuing these new areas of emphasis.
