The HIGH TIDE Project
http://www.ccpo.odu.edu/~arnoldo/hightide/hightide.htm

The High Tide program involves Virginia area high schools in making measurements of the water in lower Chesapeake Bay in order to note how salinity, temperature and density change with different wind conditions and various freshwater discharges into the Chesapeake Bay area. Students collect, analyze, and interpret weekly temperature and salinity profiles obtained with a CTD instrument at different water bodies in the Tidewater Area. The site includes a list of participating schools, data, a graph generation tool, and a tide table and schedule.
