The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has developed the AIRNow website to provide the public with easy access to national air quality information. It is a joint partnership between EPA, State and local air quality agencies. The website offers daily air quality forecasts as well as real-time air quality information for over 100 cities across the U.S.. Links are provided to more detailed State and local air quality websites. A Publications page includes documentation on the Air Quality Index (AQI), air pollution health effects, and ozone monitoring, mapping, and public outreach.
