This site presents the results of research that compared the instructional goals of faculty who teach in web-based environments with teachers who work in traditional classrooms in order to assist in improving teacher effectiveness and enhance student learning. The research addressed the overall question, are the instructional goals of faculty who teach online courses different than those who teach in the classroom, and along what dimensions?
