This site provides the curriculum vitae and links to selected publications of Barbara Tversky, professor of psychology at Stanford University. Her research areas include the nature of spatial mental representations instilled by language as compared to perception and diagrams, the hierarchy of event segmentation, cognitive uses of graphical representations and spatial arrays, and cognitive categorization.
