ncBrowse is a software application that provides flexible and interactive graphical displays of data from a wide range of netCDF data files. netCDF is an interface for array-oriented data access. A wide range of sea surface and meteorological data sets are available, such as temperature, wind velocity, pressure, and precipitation, and can be accessed by freely downloading the ncBrowse software. The site provides directions to guide the user in utilizing ncBrowse features, including how to access data files, how to review the metadata, and how to plot variables and use interactive graphics tools.
