This Java demonstration site was created for an applied statistics course at California State University, San Bernadino, provides information for using Java applets with probability and statistics. The site includes introduction to probability models, hypergeometric distribution, Poisson distribution, normal distribution, proportions, confidence intervals for means, the Central Limit Theorem, bivariate normal distribution, linear regression and Buffon's needle. Each topic includes interactive demonstrations using Java applets, some must be downloaded.
