This USGS Astrogeology Research Program provides information regarding nomenclature from the Solar System. The site features a Quick Search option that scans the database for a particular word, links to nomenclature grouped by planetary body (e.g. Venus, Moon, Asteroids), and links to related information such as history, how names are approved, an alphabetical list of names, sources of planetary names, etc. A list of planetary images showing named features can be viewed online or downloaded and links to related resources outside of USGS planetary nomenclature site are also provided.
