This website features a tool for working with Mars Orbiter Laser Altimeter (MOLA) topography data in an educational setting. The featured program, GRIDVIEW, can be used to view, measure, and produce graphics of gridded data. GRIDVIEW and the associated parts (IDL Virtual Machine, by Research Systems Incorporated) are freeware, and the package can be run on either PC or Macintosh (OS X) computers. The interactive menu interface provides various display and measurement options.
