This website is the homepage for the International Sociery for Bioluminescence and Chemoluminescence. The International Society is responsible for organizing and coordinating conferences and workshops throughout the world. In addition, they contribute to the world debate on the stability of ecosystems- particularly those where bioluminescence plays a major role, and where chemiluminescence technology has analytical potential. Finally, the Society promotes and supports public understanding of science by organizing and supporting education and natural history initiatives targeted at the general public and schools. This site features links to membership and symposium information, a listserv, relevant publications, an image gallery, education resources, and much more.
