This Think Quest educational website provides students with a web quest exploring deep ocean hydrothermal vents. Students will be guided through an ocean adventure in which they can learn about how vents are found and studied, the scientists who study vents, the significance of these studies, and the biology and geology of hydrothermal vents. Students can also learn about and discuss the ethics involved in these studies as well as the mysteries of the deep ocean. The site also features a collection of interactive activities and a glossary of key terms.
