This site provides users with a web-based interface for the visualization and analysis of oceanographic data. The project uses a Goddard Earth Science model called Giovanni for the visualization and analysis of SeaWiFS ocean color data, and MODIS Aqua ocean-color and sea surface temperature data. Users can select data in 9 km spatial areas by location, parameter, time series, plot type or ASCII output. Data are retrievable in both JAVA and non-JAVA versions.
