A Biblical Critique of Creationism
Dennis O'Leary 2003 Journal of Geoscience Education v51 no3 p309-312

The author describes in detail the difficulty Calvin had applying his methodology to the first book of Genesis. Thomas Aquinas and Augustine of Hippo both explicity rejected literal interpretation of Genesis 1.
