This site from NASA Earth Observatory describes the influence that humidity can have on global warming. Scientists don’t entirely understand whether the atmosphere will become more humid as it warms, and humidity is one of the primary factors that will influence how much the climate will warm over the next century. An understanding of how the humidity of the atmosphere will change is of fundamental importance in predicting future climate.
