This volume contains the proceedings of the Atlantic White Cedar Wetlands Symposium, held in October 1984 at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, MA. The symposium objectives were to assess the current state of knowledge about Atlantic White Cedar Wetlands and determine research needs; to stimulate a broad range of applied and theoretical research in cedar wetlands; and to promote the development of guidelines for the management and protection of this fast-vanishing resource. Topics include a regional overview, physical properties and productivity, biota, human impact, management and harvest, conservation and protection, and prospects and programs.
