Bruce Herbert, Texas A & M University

This is the homepage of an environmental geochemistry course taught by Dr. Bruce Herbert at Texas A & M University. The course explores the fundamental geochemical processes which affect the fate and transport of inorganic and organic pollutants in the terrestrial environment, including both equilibrium and kinetic descriptions of the processes which affect the fate of pollutants. The course links the effects of these processes on pollutant bioavailability, remediation and ecotoxicology. Included are models, environmental databases, case studies, course notes and links to online resources.
