Credit

We would like to extend a special thanks to all who contributed to this project. Especially Anne Loi and Bob Snyder at GIAC (Geographic Information and Analysis Center) located at Montana State University. Dr. Dave Mogk compiled geochronology data from various sources for the geochron data layer. Dr. Bill Locke and Dr. Larry Smith contributed to the glacier data from various maps. Dr. Dave Lageson contributed personal maps towards the tectonic data. The Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology provided the data from all of the 100k quadrangle maps for the state of Montana. Montana Natural Resource Information System (NRIS) provided excellent coverage for the state of Montana and making it easy to download and use their data. United States Geological Survey (USGS) provided their maps online in a downloadable format that is accessible to use in Arc. Erin Klauk and Karin Kirk contributed editorial assistance. SERC hosts this website and shares their technical infrastructure.
