Information for Faculty about QuIRK RA Program

Faculty outside "Science and Math" who are taking their research or teaching in a new, quantitative direction can apply for a team of 2-3 students with statistics training to serve as research assistants. The teams will:

• meet with you regularly to hear what you want them to do and share their progress
• meet weekly with a member of the QuIRK steering committee to help them with any methods issues they may stumble over along the way
• ideally include at least one senior and at least one junior to allow for continuity should your project extend into the next academic year

For the students involved in the project, this work will be their only student job. Each team member will work 10 hours per week.
