Greetings all-
Let me add my thanks to Dave's for a fabulous workshop.  Workshops are like 
cooking--good ingredients go a long way. It was really wonderful to have 
you all together and to learn from you.  Many thanks to everyone for taking 
the time to write an essay, put together a poster/demo/talk, come to the 
workshop, and participate so whole heartedly.

Many thanks as well to the conveners/planners: Michelle, Barbara, Jim and 
Dave.  One of the things that makes an interdisciplinary workshop work is 
the ability of the leaders to put together questions and sessions that 
speak to all of the different points of view.  We couldn't have done this 
without all of the perspectives on the planning team.  I really appreciated 
the work they did in encouraging people to apply, designing the program, 
selecting the participants, advising the website, and managing the 
discussions.  An excellent team!!

I know that you all join with me in sending thanks to the home team as 
well:
Patt for the logistics; Ellen for the evaluation work; Sean for the 
technical support; and John McDaris for his work on the website.  Last but 
not least--Jeff is doing a great job in moving forward with our voice to 
the broader community --the website.  I know he will be in touch with many 
of you as we move forward.

Special thanks to Debi who used the list (making my fear of failure if no 
one used it a worry of the past) and who sent us pictures--a necessary 
thing for a visualization workshop.

Now that I'm back from Florida :) and thinking about what we will do next, 
the next step from my point of view will be to get  all of the summaries, 
powerpoints, posters etc. from the workshop onto the website.    I'll be 
back in touch once I have my head around what we have and what we are 
missing.  In the meantime, keep those recommendations for the resource 
collections coming and let me know if we can help your working group in any 
way.

It was lots of fun!! Looking forward to the next steps.
