Hi Folks: Here are the details of surface transport to the Teaching
Oceanography workshop. Attached is the list of folks who sent their
travel itineraries.

Anyone who is flying to Seattle/Tacoma airport should plan to take the
Super Shuttle to the Watertown Hotel. Leah at the Watertown Hotel has
provided this information: There is a special discount for shuttles
going to hotels leaving on the :40 of each hour. Fare is $19 for the
first passenger going to a single destination, and $10 for each
additional passenger. If you want to go directly to the hotel when you
arrive, you can take the next available shuttle for $26. There is no
need to make reservations to go from the airport to the hotel-shuttles
run frequently all day. Note, the shuttles will most likely make stops
at other hotels en route to the University District. Apologies if we
missed anyone oon the following list, but this is the best info we have
on hand regarding itineraries that were sent.

Arriving on Wednesday:

7:54 - Matt Horrigan, Alaska Airlines 351

8:50 - Lucas Moxey, Northwest 2404

10:02 - Eryn Klosko, Delta 508;

12:33 - Chris Rapp, Alaska 539

12:40 - Leah Joseph, US Air 107

2:45 - Margaret Crowder, Southwest 169

 2:48 - Ed Laine, US Air 6343

3:40 - Jean Thiebaux, Southwest 2379Q

3:50 - Kevin Thiessen, Sun Country Airlines 287

  4:14 - Scott Glenn, Continental 1681

Please remember that the opening reception starts at 5:00, dinner at
6:00 and opening presentation at 7:00 at the Waterfront Activities
Center on the UW campus. This is a bit of a walk from the hotel (across
campus to the east, behind the Husky Football Stadium). We'll have maps
in your folders when you arrive at the hotel. For the later arrivals,
and for others who don't care to walk across campus, we'll have UW
shuttle vans to ferry folks to the WAC.

For the following group, you're all arriving on NW airlines at about
the same time. I assume you can find each other at the NW baggage claim
(or terminal areas). Both Ira Geer and Chuck Greene plan to rent cars,
so it would be best if you could hook up to share rides.

11:13 - Ira Geer - Will have car and is willing to carpool

11:13 Chuck Greene, NW 211-Will have car

11:10 - Al Trujillo, Alaska Airlines 189

11:00-Cathy Manduca, NW 175
