The Georgia Southern Department of Geology and Geography has a
tenure-track position opening in coastal geology.  A short form of the

Georgia Southern University
The Department of Geology and Geography invites applications for a
tenure-track Assistant Professor in coastal geology.  A PhD in geology
or a closely related field must be completed by the position starting
date of August 1, 2006.  Preference will be given to candidates who have
active research projects on the Atlantic Coast of the United States, who
apply GIS to their research, and who have prior undergraduate teaching
