Howdy Folks, Just a few brief updates in preparation for the Teaching
Oceanography workshop.

1. If you haven't done so, please REGISTER for the workshop at this
website: http://serc.carleton.edu/NAGTWorkshops/ocean05/registration.html
The earlier information we requested from you was submitted on the
application form which helped us in our participant selection process.
We do need you to also register so that we have an accurate head count
for the workshop. This registration form confirms your commitment to
attend the workshop. We have a very long waiting list for the workshop,
and it will help us to know if any spaces are likely to become
available. This will only take you a minute or so to fill out, so
please do this now. If you haven't confirmed your travel plans yet, you
can send those to us at a later date.

2. As part of the overall Cutting Edge program, we always build a
digital collection of resources to support the workshop activities and
beyond. We have already begun to build these collections, but need your
help in finding additional resources that we can showcase at the
workshop. So, please submit any resources on oceanographic data,
visualizations and models to this site:
 http://serc.carleton.edu/NAGTWorkshops/ocean05/contribute.html
We are looking for URLs that provide access to data, data tools, data
products, visualizations and modeling . We are also looking for journal
articles that are related to teaching with any of these topics. Please
help us discover any resources that you have either developed,
contribute to, or routinely use in your research or teaching activities.
It only takes a minute to submit a resource, and we'll then catalog
these into searchable collections that can be used at the workshop and
in other educational settings.

Thanks to all for your interest in the workshop. Looking forward to
seeing everyone in Seattle in July.
All the best,
Dave Mogk
