[Observing] final ground transport info

If you  have any questions about this, please contact me right away,
If you end up at the airport and there is no transport for you, hire a taxi 
at the airport and have them bring you to the Country Inn in Northfield on 
Highway 3 just behind the Taco Bell.


Here are the final  ground transport lists (attached) AND instructions for 
those  driving and those coming by taxi or shuttle. There will be a paper 
copy of the depart schedule in your packets.
If you are driving, we will reimburse you 40.5 cents per mile for mileage 
up to $84. Please email me after the meeting and let me know your mileage. 
You will find a W9 in your packet to complete for the college before we can 
issue a check. Also, be aware that the street to our office is totally 
blocked off right now (2nd St). When you arrive at the hotel, please ask 
for directions of check the maps I have in the packet. It's a pain, but 
there's nothing we can do about it! Sorry!!
Driving directions are :
Off I-35 take exit 69. Come 7 miles into Northfield to the first stop light 
at the intersection of 3 and 19. Take a left. Immediately behind the Taco 
Bell and Subway is Country Inn. If you are coming by a different route than 
I-35, please contact me for directions.

Coming by Taxi:
If you don't have luggage to claim, you can probably get to SPECIAL CALL 
TAXI without going through this whole thing, but I am not familiar with 
that so here are directions the taxi people gave me - which takes you thru 
baggage claim.
For baggage claim, take escalators to the lower level, walk through shuttle 
rental booths. You will come to an information booth. There is a sign to 
your left "SPECIAL CALL TAXI and LIMOUSINES." Follow the arrow and take the 
escalator or elevator up to the next level. That is the taxi/limo area. 
Taxis are on the side closest to the terminal. Because of security, drivers 
may not leave vehicles unattended so you will need to go outside and find 
the taxi with TAXI CONNECTION on the side.

Coming by Shuttle:
Arrival at the airport: IMMEDIATELY call 1-612-483-3361 to confirm your 
arrival at the main or charter airport.
Collect ALL luggage and go to GROUND TRANSPORTATION. CareTenders van will 
park next to the Park and Fly and Park and Go shuttles. You must go outside 
to the van, drivers may not come into the airport.
If your flight is delayed, call 1-612-483-3361 as soon as possible with 
flight information. You will be picked up on the next trip.

If you are scheduled to return to the airport by taxi or shuttle and find 
there is an option of riding with someone instead YOU must call the taxi or 
shuttle service by Friday afternoon and notify them of the change of plans. 
The phone numbers will be in your packet. There is a $25 fee if you notify 
them less than 48 hours ahead and we will bill your institution for that 
fee.
