Howdy Folks,

I hope you've all had a great academic year, and are looking forward to 
the summer field season.

As part of our ongoing evaluation of the On the Cutting Edge geoscience 
faculty development program, we need to demonstrate impacts of the 
overall program (and the specific workshops you've attended) on your own 
professional development. We also need evidence of impacts on student 
learning.  It would be a big help if you could take ~10 minutes and fill 
out our  follow-up survey. You may either submit information anonymously 
or provide your name and e-mail address. Your input will be a great help 
to us as we prepare for the next phase of this program.  We will use 
this information for evaluating the program, in publications and 
presentations about the workshop series and website, and in future 
proposals.

Before you file away your class activities for the year, now would be a 
good time to submit any resources you've been using to teach about 
biocomplexity.    I know you all have one or two really cool exercises 
that you can share, so please help us by contributing to the on-line 
resource collections. We need your help in identifying  a) teaching 
activities and assignments   b) journal articles that you use in 
teaching, c) data or data products, or d) any other  internet
