From mogk at montana.edu Fri Mar 19 17:16:27 2004 From: mogk at montana.edu (David Mogk) Date: Fri, 19 Mar 2004 18:16:27 -0700 Subject: [Biowksp] Biocomplexity Workshop Survey--please resond Message-ID: <405B9B6B.5030103@montana.edu> Greetings Biocomplexity Workshoppers-- I hope this message finds all of you healthy and happy as we approach this new spring season! It's been almost a year since we met in Montana for the Teaching Biocomplexity in the Geosciences workshop. It's been fairly quiet on this listserv, but now it's time for you to "write home" and let us know what you've been up to in the past year. One of our obligations to the National Science Foundation is to demonstrate the impacts of the On the Cutting Edge workshop series. We've prepared a brief survey that can be filled out on-line at the workshop webpage: http://serc.carleton.edu/dev/NAGTWorkshops/biocomplexity/index.html Please take a few minutes and let us know how the workshop may have affected your instructional activities this year, if you've developed new collaborations and networks to support your teaching and research about biocomplexity, and if the website has been useful. I also want to assure you that the website and listserv are "live" and are available to support you and your work. We've reorganized the website a bit, and I hope you will find these changes helpful. We continue to build the collections of resources to support teaching biocomplexity, so please submit your favorite URLs (or references to books or articles) via the link on the website (our staff is standing by...). Please use the resource collection and let us know how we can further develop this to meet your needs. And probably most conveniently, please use this listserv to submit to the group your queries, requests for specific information, reflections and updates about your teaching and research about biocomplexity. Many of the other workshop listservs have had a very rich discussion about a wide range of topics, and through the listserv you will be able to tap into the collective wisdom and experience of this group. I'm looking forward to seeing your responses. Best wishes to all, Biocomplexly yours, Dave Mogk From mogk at montana.edu Sun Mar 21 05:35:17 2004 From: mogk at montana.edu (David Mogk) Date: Sun, 21 Mar 2004 06:35:17 -0700 Subject: [Biowksp] Biocomplexity Survey--possible correction Message-ID: <405D9A15.1050502@montana.edu> Hi Folks-- If you attempt(ed) to get to the Biocomplexity workshop series and got sent to the administration page (that needs a password), try again at this URL (it will not have a /dev command in the address) http://serc.carleton.edu/NAGTWorkshops/biocomplexity/index.html or go directly to the survey at: http://serc.carleton.edu/2910 Sorry for any confusion.
