Habitat for Humanity Build Day part of Integrate:Workshops:Systems, Society, Sustainability and the Geosciences:Activities
The students spend one day at the Habitat for Humanity build site. The help with framing and other building aspects. Before they go to the site, they have a one hour discussion with the construction manager who discusses the energy efficiency aspects of the Habitat homes.

Course

Sustainable Buildings and Planning part of Integrate:Workshops:Systems, Society, Sustainability and the Geosciences:Courses
This is an interdisciplinary, 4-week, study-abroad course. Seminars and field trips in Northern Ireland and Barcelona provide students an international perspective of urban planning, sustainable building design, and alternative energy sources.
