NAGT has several established mailing lists set up for particular constituencies within the organization. Below you will find a short description of each list. Unless otherwise noted, only members of these lists are able to post a message to the list.

NAGTNews is the electronic newsletter of the National Association of Geoscience Teachers. To receive NAGTNews, one must be a dues paying member of the organization and have registered a current email address on the NAGT-AIP membership services site. During January and February, this email list includes current members and members from the previous year who haven't yet renewed their membership. From March to December, this email list includes only currently paid members. Contact editor Keith McKain [GeoSci64 at comcast.net] or use the News Upload Form if you have an article for NAGTNews.

NAGT National Officers: [nagtofficers at serc.carleton.edu]
This list facilitates communication among the current slate of National Officers.

NAGT Section Officers: [nagtsections at serc.carleton.edu]
This list includes the current slate of section officers, self-selected national officers and staff in the Executive Director's office.

NAGT Section Presidents: [nagtsectionpresidents at serc.carleton.edu]
This list includes the current slate of section presidents, self-selected national officers and staff in the Executive Director's office.

NAGT National Past Presidents: [nagtpres at serc.carleton.edu]
This list is used to facilitate communication between current and past presidents and the Executive Director. If you have a post that is appropriate for this list but aren't a member, please contact the Executive Director.

NAGT Distinguished Speakers: [distinguishedspeakers at serc.carleton.edu]
This list includes the current slate of distinguished speakers and Executive Director's staff who support the program. If you have a post that is appropriate for this list but aren't a member, please contact Bill Bruihler in the Executive Director's office.

In addition to these established email lists, NAGT-AIP Membership Services is able to provide customized adhoc distribution lists to targeted subsets of the NAGT membership. Information can be sent by email or through the postal service. This service is only available to representatives from each section (Acrobat (PDF) 73kB Oct30 07) and the Executive Director.
