Page Charges
The Journal of Geoscience Education is published by the National Association of Geoscience Teachers, a not for profit professional society. As such, the budget of the Journal is very tight. Therefore, NAGT requests that authors help defray the cost of publication through page charges. A fee of $100 per page is charged to authors who have institutional, industrial, or grant funds available to pay publication costs. All waivers or fee reductions should be discussed with the editor Julie Libarkin prior to publication.Page charge invoices are issued by the executive director's office shortly after publication. Upon receipt of an invoice authors are ask to respond in one of the following ways:
- Submit full payment as invoiced.
- Submit a reduced payment and a written statement indicating, "Charges reduced as per Editor agreement,"
- Submit a written statement indicating, "Charges waived as per Editor agreement."
