Summary

Significant questions in geology remain unanswered. One unanswered question is why are stratovolcanoes evenly spaced in volcanic arcs. In this lesson, students will measure stratovolcano spacings in GoogleEarth. Groups of 2-3 students will pose a question on the controls of stratocone spacing in volcanic arcs.
