Logistics and Transportation

The workshop will begin in the afternoon of Sunday, April 14, 2013 with a reception and dinner. Please make your plans so that you will be able to attend this opening session. We will conclude at 2:00 pm, on Tuesday, April 16. It is essential that you attend the full workshop.

Travel by Air

Air travelers should fly into the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport, and we recommend arriving no later than 3:30 pm on April 14, and planning to depart after 4:15 pm on April 16, as travel to and from the airport takes 45 minutes. Ground transportation to and from the airport will be arranged for you based on your travel information that you submit to us in your registration form.

Upon Arrival please call - First Choice Shuttle: 507-339-1651. They will be waiting for your call.

The pick-up times are estimates for the shuttle service's planning, but will give you an idea of when a shuttle is in the area. The shuttle service will be aware of your scheduled arrival time and will have your cell phone number.

Please proceed to the Baggage Claim area, as you will walk out of the airport building, DOOR 4, to meet the First Choice Shuttle car/van from the baggage claim area. They will not have any markings on their vehicle so they can come up to the curb. They will be awaiting your call! When you call, they will confirm your pickup time and the color/type of vehicle you should watch for. First Choice Shuttle: 507-339-1651

We understand how unpredictable air travel is these days, so don't be alarmed if your flight is early or delayed. Just let First Choice Shuttle (507-339-1651) know of your new arrival time, as soon as possible. They will be up in the airport area awaiting a call from you when you are ready to be picked up.

Most of you will be staying at The Country Inn, where rooms have been reserved for you according to your registration information under the - InTeGrate Workshop-. A Welcome Packet, with maps, will be awaiting you. If you are staying at the Alumni Guest House, your key will be at the Science Education Resource Center (SERC).
