1. What does your map show? Please briefly describe it.
My map has all the countries of the world, the states within the United States, the plate boundaries, latitude and longitude markings and the rivers of the world.
2. What kinds of data can you bring into a GIS?
You can bring in country borders, rivers, cities, counties, locations of sites.
3. List at least one other dataset containing latitude and longitude coordinates.
Volcano locations, population density, locations of mountain ranges
4. What lingering questions (if any) do you have from today's workshop?
How do you assemble this kind of data?
How would you search for GIS data?
