Bob I thought this lesson would be interesting for the students, keep them actively engaged and yet work with powerful computer tools, reinforcing their math skills as well as your tech. skills. I will show this lesson to the tech teacher in my building. I think he might be interested in this lesson also. Great job!

So Mr. Elliott,
The BIG question is why were brick houses the status symbol in Colonial America? Was it that the bricks were ballast from the old world and there was a limited supply of them...
or was it that the bricks were actually the cargo, but because of their weight, only a limited volume provided minimum freeboard?
