1. What does your image show? Please briefly describe it.
My image shows three different views of the Aral Sea, of a period of time between 1973 and 2000.
2. What measurements did you get for each of the three areas highlighted in red?
1 2275000000 403500
2 3689312500 403500
3 4789812500 403500
This data shows that the area in red keeps increase, conversely showing the area of water is decreasing.
3. In what ways can you imagine incorporating ImageJ techniques and/or satellite data into your teaching?
I think these techniques would be great to use for finding the area of leafs. In terms of large areas, it would be excellent to use for the measurement of glaciers, such as the shrinking ice extent of Antartica.
4. What lingering questions (if any) do you have from today's workshop?
I just wonder what other uses I can find for this software. :)
