1. The graph shows the effect of precip on streamflow. It seems the flow increases 1or 2 days after a precipitation event.
2.Other factors that can affect streamflow: seasons, farmers drawing water for irrigation, contour of the river, other bodies of water.

3. We can use the same data set but with local rivers such as the Assonet, Taunton, Nemasket Rivers. Other data sets could be tidal flow, water temperature, turbidity, air temperature.
