I've taken 3 pictures so far and another next week. The kids look forward to the pics and I have the COW next week to try to do some data collection (measuring with Image J) and analysis (line graph with Excel). Time is not my friend in this investigation. The students need a larger block of time to use the tools than I have. I've also found that measuring bones will be impossible with the amount and type of clothing the students wear, so I'm focusing now on height vs wingspan (m/f). Will add more soon.

I took the first set of pictures this week and am looking forward to having the kids use them. Parents seemed pretty jazzed at the project when I explained it at "Meet Your Teacher Night". So... hope for the best!

We're trying to measure tibia & femur and am running into clothing problems! It's very hard to see the hip & knee through baggy jeans etc.. so I'm kind of "winging" it for the first few measurements - trial and error I guess. Always have the fall back measure of height vs wingspan!
