This lesson is for my new geometry students it uses excel to calculate distance using the distance formula. Most of my students have no background in excel. So we will see how it goes.

My minds is expanding.
I didn't even think of using a geometric formula in Excel.
Looks great.

I know it is late but I am taking a second look and am downloading the files I would like to use later on. Perhaps this would be a good extension for shadows? I can have some of the advanced students take it to the next level. I am always looking for ways to differentiate instruction and when students catch on quickly---I can extend with this activity.
