Part 1 –
Download My World GIS and the Environmental Sustainability Index (ESI) Data

Download and install the My World GIS software, and download the ESI dataset and the ISO Countries dataset.

Part 2 –
Prepare the ESI data and import it into My World.

Saving as a tsv file. And importing into My World. A note to look at the aggregate description tab to see the hierarchy of variables, indicators, and core components.

Part 3 –
Map the ESI data.

This section should just cover making a basic map and learning how read the scale, use basic tools like zooming and panning, and changing the color.

Part 4 –
Explore the ESI data in My World.

Viewing individidual indicators, viewing and sorting the data table, mapping the top/bottom 10 for the ESI or one indicator.

Part 5 –
Analyze the data by mapping more than one attribute.

Map the example of water quality and quantity over the overall ESI.
