Background Information

I am faculty at Wagner College. I did my B.A. in economics (honors) from Delhi University, New Delhi, India; MA in economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University; a second MA in economics from University of Arizona, Tucson; and a PhD in economics from University of Arizona.
My research interests are in the positive, normative and strategic aspects of decision making. I primarily use economics experiments and game theory for my research. I have published in the Journal of Public Economics, Economic Theory, B.E. Journal of Economic Analysis and Policy,Group Decision and Negotiation, Economics Bulletin, New Zealand Economic Papers, Experimental Economics, Economic and Political Weekly, Journal of Industrial Organization Education, Perspectives on Economic Education Research and Developments on Experimental Economics.
I have reviewed for NSF (ad hoc), Journal of Institutional and Theoretical Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Socio Economics, Social Choice and Welfare, Journal of Public Economic Theory, Southern Economic Journal, Agricultural Economics, Economic Record, Economics Bulletin, Managerial and Decision Economics, Studies in Microeconomics, Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, International Review of Economics Education, Journal of Industrial Organization Education, Journal of Economic Issues, Economic and Political Weekly, Scientific Journals International, and Routledge International. I am an Associate Editor at the British Journal of Management and Economics, a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Scientific Journals International, and a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Community Development & Research.
My teaching interests are in Microeconomic Theory, and in particular Game Theory, Industrial Organization and Experimental/Behavioral Economics. Previously, I have taught as an independent instructor at the University of Arizona and at Franklin and Marshall College.
