This movie shows a small part of experiment XES 99-1, done at the Experimental Earthscape Facility at the St. Anthony Falls Hydraulic Laboratory, University of Minnesota.
*Basin: 3 m wide x 6 m long.
*Basin floor subsides through time.
*Sediment and water mixture enters from 4 input sites at the top of the frame.
*Autocyclic events (mostly labeled) include avulsion, lateral sweeping, channel expansion events, bar migration, nickpoint retreat.
