Pre-Workshop Materials Upload
In preparation for your Visiting Workshop, please upload whatever materials we have requested from you, using the links below. NOTE: you need not upload any materials we haven't asked for, though of course you are welcome to do so. With your permission, we may choose to post your supporting materials on the Building Strong Geoscience Departments website. You may also use the link at the bottom of this page to upload other materials for your workshop leaders, such as a schedule for the workshop or other logistical information.
Supporting Materials
Because sharing information among geoscience departments is a primary goal of the Building strong Geoscience Departments program, unless you ask us not to, we will add these documents to our online collections. You can find many examples of resources contributed by past workshop participants on the website.

Curriculum and Program Design
- Curricula: Submit information about one or more of your curricula. Please submit each one you wish to examine or revise during the workshop. We may make a page about each curriculum and add it to our collection of curriculum profiles.

Recruiting Students
- Recruiting Materials: Share your current recruitment materials. We may add your contributions to our pages on student recruitment.

Preparing Students for the Workforce
- Curricula: Submit information about one or more of your curricula. Be sure to submit any curricula that particularly focus on knowledge or skills key to the available employment opportunities. We may make a page about each curriculum and add it to our collection of curriculum profiles.

Program Assessment
- Assessment Instruments: Please share the primary assessment instrument(s) your department is currently using. In addition to uploading the instrument themselves, we ask you to provide information on their design, use, and impact. Submissions may be made into webpages and added to our assessment instrument collection.
- Assessment Documents: Please share your department's assessment planning documents: mission/vision statements, student learning goals/objectives, and/or departmental assessment plans, if you have them. Submissions may be made into webpages and added to our assessment planning documents collection.
