degree to which they have been tested with users. None represents a finished product. Caveat emptor.
Ready for Use
The degree to which a given teaching activity has been used/tested and the completeness with which it is documented. Can also apply to descriptions of courses to discriminate between complete course descriptions and sketchier outlines.
- Ready to Use This activity is fully fleshed out with all the details needed for use in the classroom. Also used for descriptions of courses which are similarly complete (include goals, syllabus, link to site if appropriate) 32:1 end
- UnTested A complete activity that hasn't yet been used in the classroom 32:1 32:3 end
- Tested A complete activity that has been used in the classroom at least once. 32:1 32:2 end
- Reviewed This activity has been through a formal review process. 32:1 32:4 end
- Editor Review One or more project editors vetted this activity 32:1 32:4 32:7 end
- Group Review A group of peers gave feedback on the activity which was then iteratively revised. Often as part of a workshop. 32:1 32:4 32:8 end
