This document outlines rideshare details (rental car reservation information, who is traveling with whom, who's driving, where and when to meet, etc.) for participants who will be using ground transportation between Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport and Northfield.

Driving directions to Northfield
The symposium begins at 4 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2012 in the Carleton College Weitz Center for Creativity, 320 3rd St. East, Northfield, MN. This link includes driving directions to the Carleton campus and a printable campus map that includes the Weitz Center. It also provides additional driving information for those planning to head first to the Country Inn, where symposium participants will be staying (see below). The hotel website also includes maps and driving directions.

Hotel accommodations
Rooms have been reserved at the Country Inn, 300 South Highway 3, Northfield, MN for all symposium participants from non-Minnesota institutions. See the travel information (Acrobat (PDF) 112kB Feb10 12) document you received in January for additional information about accommodations.

Expense estimates for participants being funded by their home institution

Hotel accommodations - $170
Two nights at the Country Inn, Feb 23-24, 2012 @ $85/night

Dining (February 23-25, 2012) - $150
Meals will be catered at St Olaf College and Carleton College.
